Robert Coleman, in Written in Blood (Fleming H. Revell), tells of a boy whose sister needed blood transfusion. The boy was the ideal donor because the two children had the same rare blood type. When the doctor asked, “Would you give your blood to your sister?”, the boy hesitated. Our dear brother, Tom Garin (age 65), passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at M.D. Anderson. We send our prayers to his family and lift our hearts for his joyful reunion with our Lord. Building Fund Progress – Thanks for all the support!

It’s been many years coming, but with all the generous support and prayers to date, FFAUMC has raised enough capital to build a new sanctuary in addition to the community center that we opted to build first in the interest of utilization and our local community. The Building Committee is closely working with an architect on the design and details of our new sanctuary to ensure that each dollar that everyone has donated towards our capital fund is well spent.
